About Diana Blamires
I live in Winslow and have lived in North Buckinghamshire for 14 years – firstly in Buckingham – and then I moved to Winslow with my husband and two sons almost three years ago.
I have been a County Councillor since 2021.
I have been very active on the Education Committee. I led a project which has helped parents of children with SEND issues get the information they need when they first flag a concern.
My council patch includes Wing, where I helped lobby for a crossing, which has now been installed.
I’m known for asking challenging questions in committees to hold the council to account.
I work in communications but also have a part-time role as a care worker. I am a volunteer radio presenter with a local radio station.
Recently, I invested in an e-bike and am enjoying exploring our beautiful North Bucks countryside.
I like to take daily dog walks round Winslow, often to see how our new rail station is progressing.
