Winslow Prime Stock Show Highlights: Massive Farmer Support Amid Concerns Over Government’s Agricultural Agenda

John Claridge, Chairman of the 154th Winslow Prime Stock Show, puts it best in his intro to the show:

The country’s chosen government seem to have an agenda to see the end of family farms and food production does not seem to be high on their agenda.

Huge turnout of current and retired farmers.

32 cattle entered and 100 pens of sheep from local farmers. Cookery and photography competitions raising funds for Thames Valley Air Ambulance and Cancer Research.

Tea and cake in the St Laurence Room and freshly carved beef rolls at The Bell.

Visitors from afar afield as Cockermouth, Cumbria.

Good to see so many supporting our farmers today.

Well done to all involved in organising such a successful show.
